Hello! I’m Dee, and while I’m not a medical doctor and cannot offer medical advice, I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master of Education in Health and Wellness. My passion for learning, especially in the areas of health, wellness, and nutrition, has been a driving force in my personal and professional journey.
About 15 years ago, I found myself struggling with my weight, trying one diet after another. I’d lose ten pounds, only to gain back twenty. At my heaviest, I weighed 208 pounds. I realized that dieting wasn’t the answer—I could eliminate certain foods and lose weight temporarily, but once I returned to my old habits, I’d gain everything back, and then some. That's the cycle many diets create.
Determined for a lasting change, I shifted my focus from dieting to a sustainable approach to eating. By adopting a healthier lifestyle, I successfully lost and maintained a weight loss of over 35 pounds.
The holistic techniques I used in this transformation are the same ones I now share with others through my health and wellness coaching.
I am passionate about food, healthy living, and empowering others to make lasting changes. I love cooking, baking, and reading books on nutrition and wellness.
My approach is simple: healthy eating isn't about following a diet—it’s about making it a lifestyle. But, to make that shift, you must first develop the right mindset.
